As Owner’s Representative for Cimarron Mountain Club, we played a central role in delivering the core communal facilities that support one of the most exclusive private ski and wilderness destinations in North America. Our oversight extended from early planning through construction, guiding the development of the Club’s central lodge, employee housing, maintenance facilities, and essential infrastructure systems. Each element was approached with a balance of refined design, rugged durability, and operational foresight—ensuring long-term success in a remote and demanding alpine environment.
Access to the site posed unique logistical challenges. With steep grades, seasonal weather constraints, and limited existing infrastructure, every delivery, crew mobilization, and utility extension required precision coordination and proactive problem-solving. Our team led the effort to improve access roads, manage environmental constraints, and stage construction to minimize disruption while keeping progress on track. These early investments in access and site logistics laid the foundation for successful vertical development.

In addition to the vertical construction of the lodge and support buildings, we oversaw the implementation of large-scale infrastructure improvements, including utility-grade water and wastewater systems, robust power distribution, and sustainable energy solutions designed to serve the Club year-round. These behind-the-scenes systems were engineered for high performance, resilience in extreme weather, and minimal environmental footprint—essential components in maintaining luxury-level service in a remote backcountry setting.
From guiding design decisions to coordinating contractors and ensuring quality control, our role was to protect the owner's vision while solving complex technical and logistical challenges. The result is a collection of facilities that not only elevate the member experience but also support the long-term operations and sustainability of Cimarron Mountain Club.
